DETERMINER



DETERMINER; ALL, FEW, EACH, EVERY, LITTLE
Determiner is word or word group thats located front of “noun” for limit the means. At traditioanal grammer, determiner is ever mention is limiting, adjective, althought different means with adjective. If the are together in the noun phrase, limiting adjective will be front of adjective.
·         Function Determiner
the clear situation a noun. The example there is the sentence:

(it has own some the rules each used. We can use use some for to talked a limited or amount (limited the total), sedangkan any for an unlimited number or amount (unlimited the total)

1.      Each dan every is used for show is something self and in the group.

§  Each 
Each is used for show some items self in the group. Give to self aspect from each item.
Examples:
A.      Give each student some candy. (Berikankemasing-masing orang)
B.      Make each day better than its yesterday, and each tomorrow better than today.

            Each offten used for member group is smaller. Example:
A.      Our team won and we each got a prize.

Each placed in the sentence can turn off, in the middle, or last sentence.
Example:
A.       Each of these shirts are only $20.
B.       These shirts are only $20 each.
C.       These shirts each cost $20. (Strukturinisedikitlebihtidaklazim.)

Every is used for showed to individual group item. Give to group.
Examples:
A.       Learn something new every day.
B.       Every student got a candy. (Setiap orang dalamkelompokmendapatkanpermen.)

Every is used for offten something terjadi.
Examples:
A.       He plays soccer every saturday.
B.       They go abroad every year.

Every can’t used it self. Examples:
A.       Did you finish these questions? Yes, I got every right. – Initidakbenar.
B.       Did you finish these questions? Yes, I got every one right. – Benar.


2.      The using determiners- Few dan little (sedikit)
Next adjective is using “few” and “little” in the explain total noun. Both have mean “little” next what different in the sentence? The answer you can meet this below.

“few” and “little” have means is little. The different it “few” is used before noun thats can the plural countable noun althought “little” is used before uncountable noun. Remember! (read: mean nouns)

After little must uncountable noun!
Examples in the sentence:
Incorrect: I just bring few pen.
Correct   : I just bring few pens.
Incorrect: Yohan has very littlefriends.
Correct   : Yohan has very few friends.
Incorrect: My mom used to help me a lot, but now she gives me few advice.
Correct   : My mom used to help me a lot, but now she gives me little advice.
Incorrect: Give me very few news!
Correct   : Give me very little news!

3.      ALL
All as determiner, uselly is placed front of noun. But, ever placed after noun (can differented with other word, althought conjuction with noun)
